wood floor plates

I am putting in wood floor in my family room. I have two double electric outlets on the floor. Where can I find wood floor plates that will be flush with the floor? Can I use wall plates?

If your outlets are configured the same as your walls then you may be able to use wall plates just be sure they are good quality and preferably metal if using brass make sure they a coated baldwin brass co makes great covers and are high quality. plastic would just crack and unsealed brass will tarnish when exposed to water (when you clean your floor) the other possability is to go to an electrical supply store where specialty items will be easer to locate and youll get the attention you need im sure that they are still manufactured and you will be able to find them you may have to replace the boxes that the outlets are in so that the covers will fit properly if using a good contractor they should be able to do this as part of the job. good luck!
