Basement floor options

Solid hardwood flooring should not be used below grade on concrete floor. There are engineered wood laminate and plastic laminate products available. Each manufacturer tends to make good, better, best levels of quality and warranties. Each manufacturer also has very specific instructions for the subfloor and preparation requirements and installation. Once you determine which product you will be using, then you will know where to begin.
