Pergo End Moldings Installation Question

We are preparing to install Pergo flooring in a hallway in which there is a closet with accordion doors that slide along a track. Pergo recommends that their end molding be used in this area. Has anyone had experience installing end molding in this type of situation? What size expansion space should be used? What type of sealant? Thank you in advance.

The use of Pergo instructions is good advice. There are 2 possibilities. 1.) remove the track, install the floor and re-install the track. Detailed info is available if you choose this route. 2.) use an edge molding against the track that will allow expansion space that is hidden in the molding. Pictures and detail are also available for this solution if you choose this method. My Email address and web site are accessable from the hot links below.

Thanks for your suggestions

Thank you for your suggestions. We installed the floor today and found, after taking up the carpet, that there was wood beneath the closet track. So we were able to nail some quarter round to the wood to cover the gap. Thanks again.
