Question Leveling A Concrete Floor

I want to install laminate flooring. I pulled out old carpeting and discovered that the concrete floor is slightly out of level and it has a small ridge running wall to wall. How hard is it to level this floor? How to get rid of the ridge? Would "Quiet Walk" underlayment help stabilize the laminate over the uneven concrete?

Thanks for any help you can give me! Happy New Year!

There is a pourable product designed specifically for smoothing out uneven floors. Basically, you mix it, pour on (liquid is self leveling) and wait for it to cure. It's not made for carpet, but should work well for hard product flooring.

Try you local home centers. Sorry, but I forget the name of the product.
