Piano on Wood Floors

I have just recently had my wood floors re-done. I have felt pads under all the legs of my furniture. However, I have a piano that is on casters. Felt pads won't work. Magic sliders make a type of pad specific to casters. However, I have been advised that they will still scratch my floor. Does anyone have any experience with these devices? Any other items that are recomended?

The weight of the piano it self will hold it in place. Its the getting it where you want it that may be the problem. We often call a piano mover when dealing with these situations. If they scratch the floor its up to them to have it redone.

You can get piano caster coasters

from piano or music stores that sell pianos. The inexpensive ones are made of plastic with carpet material on the bottom. Those are about $10--12/set of four. Or you can get fancy ones for $50+/set
