laminate floors

How do you fit the floor under the door trim, if you have to leave space around the edge? I can figure out the rest of the job. I'm having trouble figuring out how to slide it under the facing. Please help me.

You can cut the casings, using a piece of laminate and underlayment as a thickness marking guide, with a dovetail saw. Very tedious
You could also re-case the doors.
Another, possibly less attractive option, would be to trim the laminate within 3/16" or so of the casings and then fill the gap with a flexible, color matched grout, like is used for installations in bathrooms.
Luckily, in the installation we're doing today, there are no doors, only open transitions from the living room to entry hall and kitchen.
