Red face Buckled Parquet Floor

Two months ago I sanded and used several coats of Varathane over my old parquet floor and it turned out great! This weekend I was acid etching my bathroom floor that is adjacent to the parquet floor. Apparently all of the mopping up in the bathroom got the slab under the parquet wet and now it has buckled over about ten squares. Is there any help for this or will I have to replace this? Long "hands and knees" hours with a palm sander went into this effort so I'm hoping for a cure. Thanks!!

Usually once parquet flooring get wet without being dried immediately there is no help for it. For the cost of it its better to replace it with new, then trying to sand it out. I sorry that happen to you. My knees are begging for relief too.
