Getting started
I have purchased 3" Pre-finished Hardwood toung and Grove Planking, as I look at my project I relized I'm not sure where to start. My room is about 9 feet wide and 12 feet Long, I ahve read I should start fr9om the center and work out, but getting to the walls confuses me. I have also seen working from one wall to the other.
Also My nailer is too wide to be used on my first row (wall row) of planks, I ahve read that I should Nail from the top of the Plank about 1/2 inch from edge, where the trim will hide the nails.
is there any Good Documentation on the web that has a pictoral step by step and explains the pros and cons of each

Generally you would start on the longest wall with your starter row but it will also depend on how your joists are run. It would take all night to explain how and why we install they way we do try www.installingwoodfloors.com for a better idea and manual that you are looking for.
