edge/ends on 3/4" flooring??

Have ~ 600 sq ft of flooring to do, have decided to go with 3 1/4"x3/4" solid white oak. Several people have suggested I stay away from square edge/square ends, because it will show the flaws (high/lows) of the subfloor (5/8" plywood) when compared to eased edges/ends and or micro bevel.

The subfloor is in good shape so replacing/redoing not an option.

Your expertise is valued.

It's true, Bevel edge will hide subfloor irregularities better. And it will keep the dust in the bevel and off your wood. But some people do not like that, so if your subfloor is in good shape and level, think about if a bevel is something that will be of any use to you.
