Laminate and Paruet Flooring

I was considering putting laminate floors throughout my home (1500 sq ft) but with installation it works out costing a small fortune.

In contrast, I looked at parquet floor tiles. Those are nice. It seems you can put those down just as you would lay down self-stick linoleum tiles. Is that true?

Also, how does the cost compare with laminate flooring?

From my years of experience, self stick, or mostly called peel & stick flooring is a waste of hard earned money.

The glue on the back is not like the glue on the back they had 30 years ago. It is cheap junk.

Every now and then I have to rise up and point out that cheap solutions to decorating can devalue a home.

Go cheap and damage your larger investment. The bigger picture to the wisdom in Perry's remarks.
