3/4 t&g

We are going to install 3/4 t&g flooring in our new addition. The subfloor is 3/4" plywood on floor joists 16"o.c. Do I need underlayment between subfloor and flooring? If so what size?

cleaning hardwood floor

We sanded our old hardwood floor a month ago and were just able this week to get someone to replace the bad boards. We have now sanded them too, but by now the floor has a buildup of dirt on it. What can we clean it with before we stain it? Thanks

refinishing my floor

my floor in my bedroom needs to be refinished. I am going to sand the floor but i am confused on what kind of finish to use. What is the best to use? I have seen numerous kind of products but i do not know which ones to use. First there are the products that say that it will seal and stain all in one step. Then there are the products that offer a clear finish. I don't know which one to use. Do most finishes also give your floor a new color also? I thought a finish and a stain were two seperate things. :confused: can somebody help me out? im confused.
