sanding wood floors
Can anyone tell me if it would be okay to sand wood floors one weekend and then stain and finish the following weekend? Or do these processes need to immediately follow each other? Also, can anyone give advice on if we should sand, stain and finish one room at a time or sand the entire house, then stain, then finish?

You sould stain immediately because any water(drops,foot prints)will leave the wood softer in the spots and when you stain the spots will soak up more stain and will be darker!!! Also you can split the house up if you have any sattles between the rooms.
