Wood Floor For Houseboat
Any suggestions on a hardwood floor (look alike) for a houseboat?
Keep in mind, the boat will be unconditioned space while we are not there... Temperature range will go from ~10 to 110 degrees F. Humidity will swing with the outside...
I would guess that a true hard wood floor is out, but how about some of the laminates or artificial wood floors?

Absolutely, positively, do not use any laminated flooring products on a houseboat. The humidity level is too high.
Laminated floors are wood-based products, and they do not do well where there is excessive moisture and/or high humidity.
Pergo is great, but not for houseboats. That's why people use teak on boats. It can take the moisture.

Thanks for the reply.
My original post may not have given enough information...
This flooring will be used on a houseboat, but on the inside. Think of a houseboat as a floating cabin or a vacation home near the water. The interior really isn't exposed to much more moisture than a regular house, other than dramatic ambient humidity swings and the occasional drink my kids spill.
There isn't a hard wood floor "look alike" that is acceptable for use in a vacation home that may not have full time conditioned air?
