Laminte Floorinf installation

I have installed laminate floors in my home.
I have encountered a problem, near one of my 8' sliding door where I am supposed to put an end mold; I have not left enough room.
I need to cut off the ends of all the pieces that come up to the window.
I was wondering if any one had a suggestion of how to do this, without using a handsaw.
The laminate pieces coming up to the window, come up on their width not length.

No Expert Advice Here

I am sure you looking for some expert advice, that I cannot provide. But as a tried and true DIY guy I figure you could...

1. Tape the line to be cut, then pencil/pen the line on top of the tape.

2. Set your circular saw to the exact depth of your planks to minimize damage to the subfloor (if it is concrete be prepared to ruin the blade)

3. Make the cut along the line (I am assuming you don't have any rip cuts to make) If you have to rip a board of short length you could use a dremmel cutting tool or something similar (is this glue together or snap together laminate?)

4. Once you have made the cuts you can install your end mold.

Just my thoughts on how I might do it. If you worried about ruining your floor then you can always higher a professional to come in and take care of it.

Good luck!
