New Pergo Paradigm (Heritage Oak, Blocked) Squeaks
I had a Perigo Paradigm Heritage Oak plank floor installed in the kitchen in July, 2004. When one area is walked on (in front of dishwasher) The floor creaks/squeaks badly. The floor was professionally installed to the manufacturers specifications. Is there any way to stop the creak/squeak without replacing the floor again.

sounds like the subfloor wasn't perfectly level, therefore allowing the flooring to move.
was it nailed, glued or floated (installation)?
and does your dishwasher leak? and/or does water get splashed a lot on the floor when it's being loaded?
(i'm not a pro, but they'll want to know these details, i'm sure.......just getting the ball rolling!)

If the floor is squeaking, it was not was not installed to specs, which include the strict tolerances for subfloor flatness. If the subfloor were flat, like specified, there would be no movement/flex to make a squeak.
How much floor prep was done, prior to rolling out the underlayment cushion?
I assume this is over a concrete subfloor, if it is wood, pier & beam, then the subfloor might be squeaking or flexing.
