Floor Repair
Hello,
I had to replace some of my sub floor plywood under oak hardwood t & g. I was surprised to find out it was 1/2 in plwood under there, thought it would be 3/4 but after patching plywood I can notice the floor joists are uneven. Maybe from the house settling....I am not sure though. It is not terrible but enough that I can notice. Should I put down some kind of underlayment? Or
am I thinking about this too much?

Well just in case anyone was wondering I got some answers on other forums.
It looks like my best solution is to use Floor Patch to level out the surface and fill in the gaps then nail down the wood strips.
It was also recommended to use either felt paper or tar paper to flatten out the surface.
