plywood or osb for subfloor?

plywood or osb for subfloor?

as title says - what is the industry standard? i was always under the assumption that plywood was stronger so better...?????

OSB has made improvements in the last 10 years, that if your stapling, and not nailing, it works very well. Make sure you put the shinny side down, or the fasteners will deflect and not go in.

Plywood is better for nails, or cleats.
