options for wood floors
#1

I have old, worn wood floors. I am wondering if maybe a paint wash would be less work and money than refinishing. This is an old duplex-I don't have alot of money for extra projects-I rather count on "alternatives" that will work-any suggestions?

Depending on how often yu would want to repeat the process, you could paint the floor. I would recommend a urethane based porch and deck paint.
Maybe a few coats of more urethane clear coat over the paint.
Finishing a wood floor is much more reliable and last lots longer than a painted floor.
You might try to locate a company that refinishes gymnasium floors and see what they would recommend.
