Underlayment

Should have aksed before I did it, but now I need to know. I laid laminate wood floor this weekend. The underlayment only needed to be taped if over concrete. Anyway, it keep bunching up, so we taped the seams, but have convention foundation with wood subfloor. Now I'm worried if that is alright. Thanks in advance.

Is there a vapour barrier somewhere under the wood subfloor?

You misunderstood.

Is there a vapour barrier on top of the concrete...between the floor and the concrete? Does the foam underlay have a vapour barrier attached to it?

Sorry for the misunderstanding, yes it does have one attached to the underlayment.

Then it appears it was done correctly. You never want wood touching bare concrete...this is the reason for a vapour barrier.

Your installation over convential wood subfloor should encounter no problems because you taped the underlayment to prevent it from bunching.
