What is the best way to install concrete over a wood floor for the purpose of a subfloor for marble tile?

Concrete board can be installed directley over the plywood floor. I would reccommend using 1/2" concrete board. Install the board with thin-set mortar and use galvinized nails or screws to fasten in place. The nails or screws should be placed no more than 6 inches on center. The concrete board seams should then be taped with a fiber mesh tape and a thin layer of the mortar applied over the tape. Please feel free to email me if you have any furthe questions.
