Question

Hi there,
Has anyone used a fine rubbing compound to rub out the final coat of polyurethane? After it's cured of course! I'd like to buff the floors with something to remove any roller fibers and dust particles.
Thanks!
A perfectionist.

To renew a polyurethane finish, manufacturers tend to recommend a professional. If you plan on doing it yourself, you will need to "screen" the surface, using a nearly worn out piece of drywall sanding material beneath a buffer to give the surface "tooth" so that you can reapply additional coats of poly.
