I have the same question, but this did not get answered. I just bought a house and the subfloor at the front door is nothing but OSB flakes. The only issue is it extends past the door and goes under the frameing for the outside wall. How do I replace the sub floor wen it is that far in?

I would just cut it off at where it meets the outside wall. Install some exterior grade (AC or BC rated) plywood in it's place.
