This might be more appropriate in the cleaning forum, but has anyone ever tried to create their own "Murphy's" spray oil soap cleaner? I know it says on the bottle not to try and mix your own (probably why I want to do it) when I have tried, it looks cloudy and just not the same. (used the oil soap and a little H20) seems to work just fine though. Any thoughts???

Oils leave residues that attract soil. If you want to clean use what the pros do. Stop by the janitorial supply and you can save a bundle by buying concentrates that you mix yourself.

Anyone have any tips on how to make contact cement application easier? I'm going to be applying a lot in the next few months. For instance: Use straight from can, or roller tray? Spray? I really don't want to What type roller is best to use? I'll be using the solvent based rather than the water based. Thanks.

need a level floor!

After water damage to kitchen floor, removed floor covering (!3 layers!). Replaced sub-floor, but still had a raised area. Work/adjustment done to the floor joice(?). ? large bolts that pull that part of the board down and together? Would like to get this finished once and for all! Thanks Terrie
