Sanding The Floors.. AKK! Help Plz!!
I am sanding my livingroom/dinning room, 2 bed rooms and computer room hard wood floor. The floor is old and drab and has some paint spatter from the last owner. I already rented a sander set to be picked up Sat.. however I have a question.. or two..
1) After sanding, does the floor need to be restained?
2) What kind of varnish goes on a wood floor and how can it be applied to a large area at a time?

Odd time to start thinking about what youre going to do with the floor. You would be best advised to postpone the sanding equipment until you figure it out.
You can stain-or not. There are plenty of options for finish, depends on the look you want and your budget. Durability depends on how much you spend. Of course large areas can be done at once.
