Moving mobile home with floating laminate floor

I haven't been able to find any info on this topic. We have a double wide mobile home that we are getting ready to install floating laminate flooring in the living room to get rid of nasty carpet. My question is . . . we hope to move sometime this next coming year. We want to move the entire trailer in one piece (not split it). So, will it hurt to go ahead and install flooring now? I don't know how much longer I can live with this carpet. Thanks.

Double wide trailers have to be pulled apart to move down the highway. Most states have highway limitations on size, weight, and width. If moving on highways, chances are that you will be required to pull the double wide apart. If you can not wait until after you move the trailer to install flooring, you must keep in mind that you will need to stop the flooring where the trailer divides and install a transitional piece like a T-mold between the two parts of the trailer.
