uneven floor

Since my home was built with 24 inch floor joists and 19/32 OSB flooring there is a noticable sag in some high traffic places and we want to put down Pergo or another laminate floor. Is there any hope of me leveling my subfloor with a thin luann underlayment and some compound or am I just simply stuck in the ugly world of linoleum? Thanks for any help!!!!

Since the sags are already there, you can either remove the damaged OSB and replace it with 33/32 CDX plywood, or lay 33/32 CDX plywood over the OSB.

It is not going to last long, unless you get it flat. Along walls is not so crucial, as long as it isn't a hump. It is the traffic area, where flexing will cause it to fail.

Basically, you could lay over what you have described and it won't ever fail, as long as you NEVER walk across it.
