Pergo Installation - Issue with one wall with Paneling

I'm prepping my living room for pergo installation. The room is 22x11 and one of the longer walls has a wood/mirror panel that rotates vertical pieces roughly 12-14 inches of wood, then mirror. The problem I'm running into is that mirror is indented roughly 1/4 - 1/2 inch leaving me with a problem with pergo installation. Currently there is a carpet down without molding and looks like crap. Here's a rough pic of what the wall looks like, keep in mind all the indents are mirror.

I could leave a 1/4 of an inch up against the paneling but that leaves an extra gap for the mirror. If I were to install moulding over this it would also leave a gap.

Does anyone have any other ideas? I'm ready to rip out this panel and start fresh, but now turns into a bigger project.

Thanks in advance

Under cut the wood part. Enough for an endcap molding. Install it first, tight to the mirror, then treat it like an undercut vertical wall.
