Nails, glue & particle board

I recently purchased 1500sf of 3/4" thick - 5" wide solid Hardwood Kempas. After purchasing <duh> I did some research and see that my underlay situation is far from ideal. Most of my house is 3/4" Particle over 1/2" Ply. 2 questions...does the 1/2" of ply underneath help my case at all as the nails go pretty much all the way into it? And secondly, if I added a bead of Liquid Nails along the tongue on the side of each strip, will it help? Or, would I be asking for trouble unless I tear up and start over. Looking for a realistic answer of what I can expect (some squeeks vs. complete failure in 5 years for example). Thanks! I usually cross all of my T's before starting something like this, but somehow missed this one.

You know right from wrong, since the particle board is throwing an alarm at you.

It is you to you to make that choice.
