laminate and a round wall section

My kitchen/dining area currently has vinyl that has been damaged. Would love to replace it with laminate flooring however in one corner of the room there is a wood burning stove with brick area underneath. It is your standard red brick layed out in a 1/2 circle. Is it possible to still go with laminate in this situation?
Thanks in advance

Undercut the brick back to of an inch and to the thickness of the laminate, so the laminate slides underneath the brick.

I'd show a picture but they don't like that here as the feature only allows 10kb.

cutting brick

Thanks for the information, I guess this is when I call in the professionals. Not sure I'm up for cutting brick.
Thanks again
