tool selection

Hi,

I am currently looking to purchase a air compressor for general around the house construction. On average i do 3 decks a year and do a subfloor aboout 2 times. How big of a air compressor should I look at and what type of nail guns would work for the framing of the deck and subsloors?

Thanks in advance.

Nail guns don't need a lot of air. You can usually run two at a time off the small pancake type compressors. And they are easy to load and carry around the jobsite. But if you may be using larger air tools like impact wrenches, you will need something bigger. The air requirements in CFM is usually listed on most tools, and the compressors also list their capacities, just match things up.
