installing hardwood floor

installing hardwood floor

i am getting ready to install my hardwood floor... How am i supposed to nail the last few rows where the floor nailer wont fit... also how do i layout the floor. there is three diffrent size strips.. do i go long,short,mid size, or short, long,mid or just mix them all up... thanks for any help..

Top nail next to the wall with a pnuematic trim nailer, and then use the trim nailer to blind nail, until the flooring nailer fits.

Just mix them all up, to get a random look. No end joints closer then 6 to 8 inches, and no H joints.
