All refinishing cost are going to depend on region, skill, and the materials they are going to use.
Here close to the boder with Mexico, There are some real winners doing it for 70 - 90¢ a foot, and it is bad!!!
The real production based companies are going at it for $1.75 to $2, but the finish is still the cheap stuff.
For a quality finisher, and the use of a good finish, you will see $2.75 - $3.50

thanx for replies...
gives me a sense at least... Our parquet floors that we inherited upon this house purchase last year are real Oak that was hand-laid & glued
when home was built in late 70's. They are approx. 4" squares... amazing
cause it's the entire main 2nd floor incl. all 3 upstairs bedrooms. Would love to put down the normal oak planks but it would cost us a zillion $$$.
cheers everyone & thanx once again!
