To glue or not to glue....

We are installing tarkett laminate and we have the option of gluing it at the seams. The benefit according to the manufacturer is improved water resistance. I was thinking of gluing it for the extra protection since I like to damp mop the floor often. On the flip side, If I glue it and a plank gets damaged, you can't easily pull it up to repair it without damaging all of the planks. Any thoughts?

Since no one responded yet,

True it will take more work to repair if you glue. Ease up on the water when you damp mop Change your habits and damp mop only when it's needed. Most times I'll just vacuum or sweep up. Whenever I use water/vinegar solution to clean the floors, I just make sure the floor is dry before cleaning another area. If you're afraid of more work and planks getting damaged, don't glue it since it's not required.

PS, make sure you have extra flooring material in case you do have to repair/replace.
