laminate floor over concrete help

I have installed a laminate locking floor over some concrete, and i am running into a situation where the floor not only floats over the concrete, but actually moves a lot on it.

i know the floor needs to "breath" with humidity/heat/etc, but can i glue the floor anywhere, at all to prevent it from sliding so much?

i am due to put a hutch on the floor, but not for a couple of months, so i am looking for something to do to secure it without furniture on it.

thanks

There is a forum for laminate where you may get more views by the way.

If you "secure" a laminate floor with a hutch and furniture, you will only be securing that particular section. Unless the whole thing is glued together, you will probably start getting gaps in the areas next to your furniture where you walk.

I hate to say it, but your concrete floor likely has too many, or too large of variances in height. You could fix it by taking the laminate out a leveling the floor properly, but I don't need to tell you that this a lot of work. I can't think of any other way to fix this problem.

Good luck,

Jai
