Laminate floor and pipe leak - HELP!!

I have laminate in my family room and a pipe, in the bathroom, broke today. The water traveled under the walls into the family room, and of course, under the floor. We have been using a wetvac to pull out as much water as we can, but are still seeing some come out at the edge where the transition strip was (we pulled it out). We have a moisture barrier under the laminate. I have two questions:

1. Is the floor ruined?

2. Is there anything else we can do to try to save the floor? Should we pull it up to get all the water out?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

You can try and clean up the water as fast as you can, BUT, your floor is likely destroyed.

The water probably got between the floor and the barrier.

follow-up questions

Thanks. That is what I figured. How would I go about trying to clean up if it is under the laminate? How will we ultimately know if the floor is destroyed? Will it take time? What will be the determining factor?

You would have to pull up the entire floor to clean it.

Your boards will start to curl and warp if it was really damaged, especially at the seams.

It won't take long for damage to start to occur, probably within a couple days.
