first time installing

Hello all new to forum and installing wood floor. Im going to be installing 300 sq. ft. of bellawood 3/8 in golden teak solid wood flooring. home is from 1950 I have exsiting 3/4 in floor boards over floor joists and there in pretty good shape but i put down 1/4 in plywood to make it flat and smooth. Should I use the staple down or glue down method? Which would be best or easier to do?

I would nail it down if you can, it owuld make replacing a plank easier if ever needed.

Just roll some 15 lb roofing felt down first.

I agree with HotinOKC. A good glue is going to cost about 50-65 cents a ft. . Plus you have a limited amout of time to work with it and it can be very messy.
Nail down is the only way to go
