Can I use old finish?

Hello,

I have almost a full gallon of Parks Waterborne polyurethane finish that was opened around 3 years ago. It's been stored in an area that might get as hot as 100 degrees.

I opened it and it looks the same as it was when fresh. It doesn't stink, like old paint does when it gets old.

Can I still use this, or should I toss and shell out for some fresh finish?

Thanks in advance.

John

Welcome to the forums John!

If it looks and mixes up ok, it is probably alright. Be sure to strain it before you use it - there is probably a guber or two in it somewhere.

No, I would not use it. Shell out the $30 on a fresh gallon.
