How much time between patching and laying laminate?

How much time between patching and laying laminate?

I am preparing to lay a laminate floor in my basement. The floor is a concrete slab, and I have been using patch to fill some low spots.

How much time between laying the patch and laying the floor? If I put the patch down this afternoon, can I begin laying the floor tomorrow?

Duh, I just read the information on the back of the bag and it says that most floors can be installed in 12-14 hours. I hope that is my answer.

Guy...lots of "duh's" on here...no problem. Yer just like the rest of us.

btw...I have laid (layed?)...ok, ...... "put down" sheet vinyl after about 1 hr using Ardex Featherfinish. It lasted fine. Go by what the bag says.

Being in a basement, get some air flow going.

Set up a couple of fans to circulate the air, and turn on the A/C or heater to pull the added moisture/humidity the space has gained.
