Glitsa Floor finish on vertical surfaces

I just built a White Oak staircase for a customer, and she specified that she wanted the Glitsa Gold seal finishing system. I understand that I need to use the Glitsa sealer before applying the Gold Seal. My question is about applying it to vertical sufaces, such as the risers and skirt boards.

It says on the label that it self levels if it has enough time to do so before moving air dries it out too quickly, but does not mention vertical surfaces.

I'm worried that if I apply it too thinly, it will set up too fast, and the brush marks will show - on the other hand, if I apply it too thick, it will run. I thought about spraying it on with my HVLP sprayer, but also worried about overspray.

Anybody ever run into this situation? Any advice is certainly welcome!

I think you should go to the Glitsa American website and read the spec sheet and msds. It's only 20% solids so it should spray well but Glitsa recommends a full suit and remote breather system when you use it.
