Cool Squeeking Laminate

We are installing Bruce Laminate flooring, we made sure the subfloor squeeks were all gone, layed the laminate down and now the laminate squeeks when we walk on it. Any help or advise? It would take a whole bottle of baby powder!, Thanks

Take it back where you got it from!

Squeaks are usually caused from movement/flexing, from low areas in the substrate, but I'm not there to see it for myself.

High humidity will do that too!

make sure you don't have the laminate too tight somewhere against say a door jamb or wall, squeaks require movement (which you apply when walk on) and they require rubbing two components when movement happens, typically a subfloor squeak is a nail that has worked alittle loose and it is rubbing inside the subfloor when you walk,,,SO the laminate has no attachments only itself theoritically no moving parts possible because of the locking system.....
just thougt of a situation last year.....a DIY customer had installed his own qtr round and had gotten a nail into the floor so when he walked on it the pressure from the walk made the qtr rnd move and SQEAK against the baseboard
