Concreate floor not level

hello

It's been brought to my attention that even if i rip up my old carpet and get the surface area clean...I'm not done.

I need to grab a level and make sure the surface area is level. If it's not, then I need to correct that.

So, my question. What kind of materials does one use to make that surface area level?

This is something I'd like to do and not have to pay someone $30/hr do it. I'm assuming it's not that difficult, just time consuming and messy.

Thanks!!

My clients pay me $50 and hour to do that. Your not going to get much for $30 an hour these days in the flooring labor business.
