Question Bad Laminate install

I installed my floor last year, and had some problems with it , so after throwng tools and other things around, I stupidly decided to trim the ends and sides to make it fit together, now the boards are coming apart, I tap them together, and they start to buckel, so thsi is n question.

If I brad nail all the boards to the floor, would this cause a problem except when if I try to remove them?

Please help, I have my nailer ready and waiting.

Thanks,

It will most likely split the flooring. The floor needs room to expand and contract.

So, you basically removed the tongue and groove of the boards?

If you don't follow manufacturer's installation instructions, you void warranty and set yourself up for flooring failure. Sorry, but a nailer in hand will not solve your problems.

If you have laminate install problems, read the manufacturer's instructions. If in doubt, contact the manufacturer.

I basicly removed some of the tongues, does this stuff expand and contract a lot, and if I use finishing nails will it still split?

He says that it will most likely split, but if it looks bad already then what do you have to lose.
