Transition from laminate to thick carpet

I am installing laminate flooring in a hallway and I need to transition to carpeting in two bedroom doorways. I have bought the transition kits with the Armstrong swiftlock flooring, but the carpet I'm transitioning to has a 1/2" thick pad plus a fairly thick carpet. The carpet side is actually higher/taller than the laminate side. Any ideas. Thanks.

What transition piece did you buy? If it were 3/4" solid hardwood, a baby threshold is used.

Depending on laminate manufacturer, the transition piece for carpet to laminate may be named differently. It could be called "End Molding Carpet Reducer."

Transition from laminte to thick carpet

I have the exact transition in your reply. I assuming that I can just butt the carpet up to flat side of the transition using a tack strip to hold the carpet in place? Please let me know and thanks for your help.
