Carpet in Doorways after Laminate Install

With all of the helpful tips here, I have completed installation of over 900 sq. ft of laminate.

Have all of the baseboard and quarter round trip up and transition strips beneath doors.

So, how do I lay back down the wall to wall carpet at the doorways. This is in two bedrooms. I left plenty of excess carpet, but am not sure how to attach it up against the transition strip. I presume I will need the wooden "tack strip" to hook it into?

Any tips to save a carpet installer trip are appreciated.

Most laminate manufacturers have a transition piece for laminate to carpet. It should look something like this End Molding/Carpet Reducer:

You will need carpet tack strip backed off from the transition piece a bit and carpet stretched onto the tack strip. See below.
