Will I have to pull off the trim/baseboards ?
I have carpet in my 3 bedrooms that I am looking to replace with laminate. Id really like to avoid pulling the baseboard/washboard off and putting it back on. It looks like there is about a good 1/4 - 3/8 inch gap between the bottom of the baseboard and the floor. I think ive seen people leave the baseboard as is, put down the laminate, then layout quarter round on top of the laminate next to the baseboard.
suggestions ?

if the gap (1/4" to 3/8" without carpet?) is that small most of it will be covered by the floating material and the planks of laminate, you might have to check with a piece of the foam and a plank and make sure they will fit underneath of the baseboard, if not then you will have to remove for a nicer look, and if they do fit and still have a small gap then you might go with the 1/4 round, hope it helpedBeer 4U2
