Laminate ? Kitchen?

You have a page that states
Laminate Flooring For remodeling a kitchen on a budget, laminate flooring is often the best choice.

Seriously? Get that wet and then what?
Where can I find laminate that won't disintegrate for kitchens?

laminate flooring can preform quite well in a kitchen, i installed mine about 8 years ago and have had no issues,
my flooring is a snap together type, and the manufacturer recomeneded glueing the floor when installed in potentialy damp areas, and didnt recomend useing it in a bathroom.

they also recomended cleaning up any wet spots soon as possible, and i think most people do clean up a spill right after it happens.

i also did the entry way to my house in laminate flooring and it has also performed very well.

There are plastic laminate floors on the market, made mostly for commercial. You can soak those in a swimming pool and install them. I've never liked the looks of the actual laminate top but you asked if there were any out there.
