water soaked into hardwood floor

a 2.5 gallon jug of water sprung a leak in the small pantry off my kitchen. not sure how long it was leaking as it looked like a nice slow leak. i estimate about 1 gallon of water leaked on to the floor before we noticed.

in short, the wood looks fine, slight if any discoloration but the once smooth opening door sticks a little as 2 or 3 boards around the leak raised a bit (2mm or so).

its all dry on the surface and i put a dehumidifier in there and closed the door for a day, but its still the same.

any ideas to get this back to normal and make sure it doesn't mold?

First of all, open the door....keep some air moving in that area. Running the dehumidifier is fine, and employing a fan might be a good idea as well. Other than that, give it some time. I have seen it take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks for moisture levels to return to normal. At that point, the floor may or may not lay back down, and you may be required to do some repair work. Find someone with a moisture meter who can check the wet area and the unaffected areas periodically so you'll know when it has dried sufficiently.
