Skimcoated thresholds
Hi,
I just ripped out the carpeting in my Dining Room, and wanted to put down either hardwood or wood laminate. There is plywood underneath. The problem is that they skimcoated the threshold going into the kitchen because the kitchen is quite a bit higher because it has tile flooring. So to ease the transition from the DR into the Kitchen, they built it up like a little ramp- does that make sense? So right there, it's not level. So, my question is, what do I do now? Is there any way to remove the concrete? It doesn't look like it would be easy. I SO don't want to put carpet back down, but i can't think of any way to do this. Suggestions?
Thanks!

if i am understanding correctly =
bash the concrete out, should be pretty easy. depending on the thickness of the wood you get, it may work out that it is pretty even.
pics would be great.
