looking for cheap red oak
I see Lumber liquidators has unfinished red oak for 1.59$ RL Colston
not bad for rustic but is there any finished stuff out there under 2$?
I am in western US.

Sure. You can find "cabin" grade stuff for under $2, but be prepared for a really "rustic" look and an overrun of about 10 to 15% due to minor defects. If you can live with the defects, you're home free. Unfinished flooring is cheap, mainly because you have to finish it at twice the cost of the original wood, so no savings there.

like where is finished cabin grade for under 2..??? I dont mind a bit of crap..
I like to patch with dutchman ,,as long as not too much..
I would rather not urethane in the winter....otherwise 1 coat of satin is all I would do and that would be fine.. but only in summer..
