prep to lay hardwood floor

planning to lay new hard wood floor over 60+ year old wood floor with areas that are more than 1\4" to 10' run off level. should this be a major concern and what can be done beond jacking up floor joist and laying all new sub flooring?

If you lay your new floor over your old sloped floor, your new floor will be sloped also. I don't know about your home, so I am not sure if jacking it is practical, however, that would be my first suggestion. Your home is not that old, so you probably have experienced some setteling. Maybe a little jacking, some oak shims, and away you go. I probably would not even think about
new subflooring at this point, that is a big costly job. Check out jacking up first. Good Luck
